I was outside today, trying to find some places where I could take som photos of the melting process of the snow. Unfortunately I forgot my tripod at home, which naturally resulted in to “wingly” and unfocused shots of the water and rivers. Hence, I must take another trip in the next days to document this particular process in the nature.

The big winter storm Dagmar, which hit the Norwegian coast a few days after Christmas, resulted in large amount of trees falling down, due to the heavy winds. In one of the fallen tree roots we found a nest that was filled with these type of insects.

In the end of December a massive winter storm hit the coast of Norway. The coast line from Bergen in south to Namsos in the middle of Norway were hit. This tree did not resist the storm and broke.

This years first photo of a camp fire. I and a friend of mine was out on a trip in the forest some minutes of walking from the appartment. The purpose for the trip was creating a camp fire, and I think we managed it!

It has been some time since my last photo. I have been quiet busy the last month, with much to do on work. However, I took this photo a couple of months ago when I was out walking with my camera one evening. On my trip I came over this small area where there were a lot of these small snails, all which was just “relaxing” on the leaves.

Northern lights (Aurora Borealis) are not very common in Trondheim, compared with places further up north in Norway. One late night in September I was just come home from a party. Right before I entered the apartment I took a look on the skyline, and then I saw some minor northern lights above Moholt and Tyholt in Trondheim.
